About this deal

If you can’t tell I absolutely love using the Mevo. The accuracy, speed, portability, and ease of use exceeded my expectations. Nothing against a bare-bones device but a little extra meat on the bone is never a bad thing. How We Tested Personal Launch Monitors Downsides are that it’s really something you’ll only want to use indoors, and doesn’t feel quite as “pro” as the Mevo Plus or Bushnell. But if you want to setup a home simulator, have limited space, and want a device that simply works, and works well? The SkyTrak+ is an excellent choice. The launch monitor is compatible with the full PC version of E6 CONNECT, The Golf Club 2019, Awesome Golf, Creative Golf 3D, and GSPro. Additional Notes So before deciding which device you want, it’s really important to understand what you’re looking for, as well as what your budget is.

Some launch monitors like the Uneekor QED allow you to see a slow motion video of your club through impact. Second, the Approach R10 supports golf simulation. Through the updated Garmin Golf app, you can either practice and analyze your sessions on a virtual driving range or play courses around the world on Home Tee Hero. You can also play the world-renowned E6 CONNECT software, Awesome Golf, TGC 2019, or PinSeeker app tournaments. The Mevo Plus is a champ. It’s relatively affordable, it performs well both indoors and outdoors, it comes with apps and software out-of-the-box, and it’s compatible with a slew of great simulator software providers.

Looking for a portable launch monitor? A professional one? One for the outdoors or for the home? Whatever your intended use is, there are very good options available to you. While you do miss out on some of these more advanced features, Mevo+ still provides a ton of capabilities for the price. But it's important to know what else is available given a bigger budget. Mevo+ Review Conclusion The end result is apparently much more precise results. Our tests and the experiences of other GCQuad users seem to confirm the extreme accuracy, but whether or not it’s the most accurate launch monitor on the market is up for debate.

Not everyone can afford professional launch monitors that cost five figures or more. Fortunately, as launch monitor technology has advanced, many very affordable solutions have appeared on the market, so there are options that can accommodate a range of budgets. Full Swing developed the KIT over the course of many years in collaboration with Woods, who sought a launch monitor that he could take to the range and that he could count on as much as his indoor Full Swing Pro Series simulator.

Some launch monitors, like the Full Swing KIT or Mevo Plus reviewed above, work best outdoors (e.g. on the range) where the ball can take its full flight. Others, like the SkyTrak+ or EYE XO, are better suited for indoor use because of camera-based technologies, simulation capabilities, or space requirements. Every detail in the swing is captured with the highest precision, including the location of impact on the clubface. A total of 27 parameters can be delivered in real time, including all the ones you’ve come to expect from a launch monitor. There is also plenty of online training material available from Flightscopeto get more in depth in terms of using all the features. And fortunately, there's support both online or on the phone for anything you might not understand how to operate. In fact, once when I spoke to one of the tech guys, he told me that he's constantly learning new things as he helps customers, so there's a lot to go through. Once you buy one of these units, there is a learning curve, and I believe there are a lot of uses for the Mevo+ that I have yet to discover. But in the meantime, I went through most of the basic functions, and found them to be pretty user friendly once I got the hang of them. Have you ever wanted to know which launch monitor Tiger Woods uses? That would be the Full Swing KIT, an advanced radar-based launch monitor built at Woods’ request and according to his standards. Have questions about any of these? I’m here to help! Drop a comment and I’ll do my best to help out.The confusion is real on making a choice. And it seems to only get worse the more I look. So any help would be a god-send. What I would like may not be possible with a limited budget, but here is my wish list. There are golf launch monitors available at just about every price point, all the way down to a couple hundred dollars. So while putting on simulators is often disregarded, this is one of the only at-home setups that can actually provide useful numbers and an enjoyable experience. Look at the features offered. How does the launch monitor display your data, and how can you store and organize it? Can you view your data directly on the unit itself or is software required? What devices (iOS or Android) are the apps and software compatible with? With the X3, you can set up multiple camera feeds and then sync the multi-angle video with radar data on every shot.
