I'm actually looking at the same monitors as you are, while the kvm switch of the Dell would actually better suit to my use case, I do tend to lean more towards the LG because of their implementation of USB 4 and Freesync (both are missing from the Dell) As you I'm also wondering when they will actually release it to the public. The LG 40WP95C-W boasts the 5K2K resolution for those who prefer the ultrawide format but don’t want to compromise on pixel density. LG’s Dual Controller feature is also available, which works similar to a KVM switch as it allows you to control two PCs via one set of keyboard/mouse; however, they need to be connected to your main PC, not to the monitor, and both PCs must be connected to the same network.

It comes with two ports, one delivering up to 96W power output to charge the host. With the monstrous 16-inch MacBook Pro requiring 96W, this monitor has enough power to charge any laptop in the market while running full throttle. The Odyssey G9 is primarily a gaming monitor, but it does not fall short of productivity tools. It comes with the Easy Settings Box software to split the screen into different layouts of multiple windows. However, it does not have a built-in KVM switch or Type-C connectivity. ConnectivityBesides its pixel-perfect display, this monitor has many things to love. LG 27MD5KL-B is one of the few monitors with macOS integration. You can adjust different display settings, such as brightness, directly in macOS without using the physical buttons on the monitor.
