During the last decade, I have tried at least three noticeably different formulations of Kouros, and this dynamic between dirty and clean seems to be almost completely gone in this newest formulation. The Man Silver, on the other hand, gets closer to the original Kouros. From memory at least, I would say that The Man Silver manages to achive parity with the original Kouros. Perhaps a few notes are different, but it's very close. When it comes to perfumes, probably the most important period was the late 90s and 2000s when Gucci (1999) acquired Ysl and asked Tom Ford to design a ready-to-wear collection was also a creative director in the perfume sector. i recommend this one even in the newer formulation. Of course the vintage has better quality and has a more disctinct eucalyptus note but, it's still Body Kouros and it still performs and smell good.I have heard and read so many divided opinions about this one such as “ it smells like urinal cake” or “ it smells like body odor” that I understand if someone would be repulsed by Kouros without even sampling it.
