In the case of aphthous ulceration and oral candidal infections treatment should be continued for 48 hours after clinical resolution. For the treatment of dental stomatitis the dentures should be cleansed and soaked in Corsodyl 0.2% Mouthwash for fifteen minutes twice daily. If you forget your chlorhexidine dental or sore throat treatment, use it as soon as you remember, unless it's nearly time for your next dose. In this case, just skip the missed dose and have your next one as normal.It is available to buy from pharmacies and is often prescribed by dentists to treat or prevent gum disease.
