About this deal

The brush comes with two different heads as standard, the PoreFect daily cleansing brush head and the Tone It Up Silicone head. So you have everything you need in one box to get you started and using the brush to it’s full capacity. Suitable for daily use and all skin types, BareFaced3 slots easily into your daily skincare routine. Simply apply any cleanser (either to your face or to the brush), choose your cleansing mode and go! With its built in zonal timer, your skin will feel vibrant and glowing in just 60 seconds. The best cleanser to use with Magnitone is a cream based cleanser. I use Estee Lauder’s cream cleanser (a non-foaming one) and that seems to go pretty well with this routine. The Magnitone Barefaced 2 comes in two different shades – White and Pink, I decided to go for pink as I thought it would be less inclined to look a bit grubby after a heavy session of removing makeup. The shape of the device has been changed up slightly too. It feels lighter than the previous device despite being more of a solid shape where before it had an hourglass shape, personally I found that easier, and more comfortable to hold – this device feels a bit chunkier and it’s slipped out my hand a few times as I feel like I have less of a grip on it. Now I’m used to it however there have been no further drops *touches wood*. So what’s different about the Magnitone Barefaced 2? It’s incredibly simple to use – first, I wet my face with warm water, then I apply my cleanser all over my face, then you wet the brush and off you go!

The thing I love most about Magnitone London’s BareFaced is that the results are immediate. As soon as the vibrations turn off, I can feel that my skin has had a good workout and it feels a little tingly for a little while afterwards. I feel like my skin absorbs my moisturiser a lot better after giving my face a once over with BareFaced and I assume this is because it’s lifted all the dead skin and other gunk in the way off my skin. When you reach the step in your skincare routine to apply your serums or moisturiser, give them an extra boost with your BareFaced3 in PulseLift massage mode. Attach the ToneItUp Massage Brush Head to your BareFaced3. When you’re done, rinse your BareFaced3 to remove any cleanser and place it in the Bathroom Caddy to drip dry. Rinse your face with warm water to remove any cleanser (or use your WipeOut cloth) and carry on the rest of your skincare routine. I have very sensitive skin so I’ve always been a little nervous about using a daily brush as I was afraid it would cause some serious irritation. Some people don’t recommend using cleansing brushes daily but I personally have not encountered any problems with this so far.

When you first get your BareFaced cleansing brush you need to charge it for a solid 12 hours. It already comes with a bit of charge but if you want to makeyour brush last for as long as possible then it’s much better to give it a full charge before you use it. It's time to supercharge your skincare routine and say hello to clearer, firmer and more radiant skin with BareFaced3! Powered by clinically proven Vibra-Sonic® technology and with its innovative new SiliSoft® Silicone Cleansing Head, BareFaced3 is the softer and more sustainable solution to your daily deep cleanse. This high-tech option not only dissolves sweat and sebum, but also massages to encourage drainage, reduce puffiness and firm up skin. Simply connect it to the app and select one of the 16 (that’s right!) settings. When I go to bed I useSt Ives Apricot scrub for a deep cleanse and I find that the this routine works fairly well for keeping my skin soft and blemish free. The brush has been upgraded to offer three different modes in one, a sensitive gentle cleanse, deep cleanse and an ‘PulseLift’ toning mode. Previously whilst there was toning heads – the modes on the device were blended together, but it’s easier to know by pressing once, twice or three times for what mode you are in.

The two heads leave you with different options. The classic brush is great for the majority of cleansers – I don’t love any cleansers which create bubbles too much with these brushes as I find they foam too much and then tend to go up my nose! But cream cleansers or ones which gently sud work perfectly with the bruistle brush. There are a few options I like to use the rubber toning head for – it’s great for cleansers which have ‘bits’ in such as the Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleanser – which features seeds which become wedged in the bristles, but it works nicely with this, Alternatively it can be used in the toning mode which has a massaging effect and works lovely with serums, creams and oils. I tend to keep and use mine more in the shower – so I rarely take it out, but I do still use the toning mode with cream cleansers. First cleanse first - remove all makeup. Try MAGNITONE WipeOut Microfibre Cleansing Cloths to remove makeup with just warm water. Cleansing is the cornerstone of your skincare routine, period. Thoroughly cleansing your complexion removes make-up, dead skin cells, pollution and excess sebum – all the things that rob your face of its glow. The brush has a slightly more luxe finish than it’s predecessors rose gold detail around the edge of the device, and a rose gold button in the centre. Previously it was a rubber button and it does add to the finish. There are three lights which surround the central switch, pressing more than once will take you through the different modes, and you can see easily by light whether you are on mode 1, 2 or 3. What I’ve also found great with this is that it flashes red too when it needs charging – very handy to have a visual reminder to put it on charge.
